Purchasing the USACH 75 cylindrical grinder from Hardinge, Inc. has allowed Grinding Specialists, Inc. to increase its grinding service by 30%. The Westland, Michigan company values all of the capabilities of the USACH 75, but in particular its accuracy, flexibility, and power.

The USACH 75, in its compact design, specializes in the production of small precision parts manufacturing where IDs, ODs and faces need grinding . Dennis Johnson, Jr., Grinding Specialists Inc.’s Plant Manager for Maintenance, said his company did its homework before buying the USACH 75. “Our primary purchasing criteria called for a production capable ID grinder that can hold 50 millionths tolerance,” said Johnson, Jr. The USACH 75 checked that box for Grinding Specialists.
