Hardinge Inc. Completes Acquisition of Weisser

German based Company Officially Joins Hardinge’s Machine Tools Portfolio

 

ELMIRA, NY (October, 2021) – Hardinge Inc. recently completed the acquisition of world leading German manufacturer Weisser. The St. Georgen, Germany based company, with its brands and business entities, officially joined Hardinge on October 8, 2021. Hardinge previously announced an agreement on July 20, 2021, to acquire Weisser.
 
The Weisser divisions acquired include J.G. WEISSER SÖHNE GmbH & Co. KG, Machine tool company and Weisser Präzisionstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, precision laser welding and cutting machines.
